2000/XP/Vista
If you have any questions that are not answered here,

Q. I'm receiving an error message when I try to run MicroWorlds EX
under Vista.
A. Please contact us for the v.1.6 upgrade. In the meantime click OKAY
and the message will disappear.
Q. When I double-click a MicroWorlds EX project, MicroWorlds EX
launches the Welcome screen rather than the project?
A. You may have this problem if you've installed Windows XP Service Pack
2 (SP2). Please contact us for the v.1.6 upgrade.
Q. MicroWorlds EX won't run on my Windows 98/ME/NT
system?
A. We don't support MicroWorlds EX under Windows 98/ME/NT. However, you
might want to try upgrading your copy of Internet Explorer.
Q. I'm having trouble playing imbedded sounds?
A. Please contact us for the v.1.6 upgrade.
Q. Why can't I proceed to page three using the Quiz-Maker Tutorial?
A. Certain v.1.6 users may encounter this problem. Please refer to
the following link for a work around:
Download the following file (right
click, save target as...) and over write the existing file with the same
name found at: C:/Program Files/LCSI/MicroWorlds EX/Tutorials/act8
Please note: you may need to log in as administrator to make any
changes to the Program Files directory and it's sub folders.
Q. My question isn't answered here. Where else can I find help?
A. If you still need help, please do not hesitate to contact us from

- Computer Model
- Computer Platform (Mac or Win)
- Mac OS version
- Windows version
- MicroWorlds product (2.0, Pro, EX, EX Rob or JR)
- MicroWorlds version
- Description of problem or steps which lead to the problem
- Can the problem be repeated?
