TROUBLESHOOTING
If you encounter web pages with MicroWorlds projects that show but do not
function well, the problem is probably with the design of the project itself. If
some MicroWorlds projects do not show at all on the web pages you are looking
at, you should download and install different MicroWorlds Web Players based
on the platform and OS that you are using. If you think that the MicroWorlds Web
Players are already installed, you should consider re-downloading and
re-installing them, checking for any suspicious error message during each
process.
Compatibility Between MicroWorlds Projects and MicroWorlds Web Players/Plugins
There are four MicroWorlds Players/Plugins. They allow you to view MicroWorlds projects from within
your Internet browser.
On Windows, download and run both installers.
On Macintosh, download and install the appropriate Player/Plugin, based on
your operating system.

create web projects.
(2) On the Macintosh platform, download only the Player/Plugin
that corresponds to the operating system that you are using. Note that
the Player that runs under OS 8.5 to 9.2 doesn't open projects created
using MicroWorlds EX.
Compatibility between the different versions of MicroWorlds
There are four supported versions of MicroWorlds on the Windows and
Macintosh platforms: 2.0,
Pro, EX and JR.
The following information refers to MicroWorlds projects created with
one version
of MicroWorlds and loaded with a different version of MicroWorlds (not the Web
Player).

(*) Using MicroWorlds Pro (Mac), you can open MicroWorlds Pro (Win)
projects by using Import in the Files menu. Modified shapes and some
features may be absent (i.e. hyperlinks). Also, only uncompressed
projects (MW2) can be imported.
(**) If you carry files from the
Macintosh platform to the Windows platform, make sure that the file names have
the appropriate extension. Add the extension manually if needed.
(***) MicroWorlds EX can load projects created using MicroWorlds V2 for Macintosh only
if they were created using the function Export Project in the File menu. Again,
add the appropriate extension to the file name.
(****) Some features will be absent (i.e.: the icons on buttons will not
show when the project is opened in MW EX)

If the information contained on this page doesn't solve your problem, gather as
