MicroWorlds WebPlayer 2.0/Pro for Windows 95/98/NT/ME/2000/XP

Q. I just downloaded and installed the latest WebPlayer from your
website and I still cannot view certain online projects using IE 6.
A. While the online MicroWorlds projects on our site have been updated
for IE 6 compatibillity, unfortunately there are still some other sites
in our Links section, and eleswhere on the WWW, that contain projects
that have not been updated for IE 6.
Q. I am unable to install the WebPlayer for Netscape 6.0 or higher.
A. Download and install our latest version of the Webplayer from the
following link:
http://www.microworlds.com/webplayer/index.html
Q. Will the WebPlayer read projects created in other languages?
A. Yes, our latest WebPlayer will read projects created with English,
French, Italian, Spanish, Portugese, Greek and Japanese MicroWorlds.
Q. Sometimes when viewing a MicroWorlds project on the WWW I cannot
hear any sound. Why is that?
A. Depending on your connection speed you may have to be patient and
allow both the project and the sounds to fully download before running
the project.
Q. Can I use the MicroWorlds WebPlayer with Firefox?
A. Even though our WebPlayer can run under other browsers we only
officially support the Webplayer under IE and Netscape 4.0 or higher.
However the performing the following should work with FireFox:
- Back up your Mozilla FireFox \ plugins folder
- Download
and install to Internet Explorer both the MicroWorlds EX and
MicroWorlds 2.0 / Pro WebPlayers.
- Copy the contents of Internet Explorer's plugins folder and paste to
FireFox's plugins folder.
Q. I have posted my project online and the music and sounds are no
longer working.
A. Be sure to only use lower case letters for the music and sound
file names and extensions.
Q. Windows Vista is telling me that it doesn't recognize the
publisher, should I continue with the installation?
A. Yes. continue with the installation. More details available through
