MicroWorlds WebPlayer 2.0/Pro for Macintosh

Q. My OS X versions of IE and Netscape are not working with the older MicroWorlds 2.0 and Pro WebPlayer plug-in.

A. Download and install the OS X version of the WebPlayer. The OS X WebPlayer will only function with Safari.

Q. When using the WebPlayer with Netscape 6.0 or higher the buttons, sliders and sounds found in my project are not working. What Shall I do?

A. Download and install our latest version of the Macintosh Webplayer from the following link: http://www.microworlds.com/webplayer/index.html

Q. My Internet browser keeps freezing up when I try to viewa project.

A. Be sure to increase the application size for your Browser by 20 MB. Details and directions are provided at the following link: http://www.microworlds.com/webplayer/indexmac.html

Q. Will the WebPlayer read projects created in other languages?

A. Yes, our latest Macintosh WebPlayer will read projects created with English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portugese, Greek and Russian versions of MicroWorlds.

Q. Sometimes when viewing a MicroWorlds project on the WWW I cannot hear any sound. Why is that?

A. Depending on your connection speed you may have to be patient and allow both the project and the sounds to fully download before running the project.

Q. Can I use the MicroWorlds WebPlayer with other browsers such as Opera™?

A. Even though our WebPlayer can run under other browsers we only officially support the Webplayer under IE and Netscape 4.0 or higher.

Q. Will the WebPlayer run under OS X?

A. The WebPlayer will not install to any native OS X Internet browsers although you can run it using IE or Netscape (3.0 or higher) under OS X's Classic mode.

Q. I have posted my project online and the music and sounds are no longer working.

A. Be sure to only use lower case letters for the music and sound file names and extensions.

Q. I can't view projects created with MicroWorlds EX?

Unfortunately, you need to be using OS X along with our new WebPlayer to view projects created with MicroWorlds EX.

- Description of problem or steps which lead to the problem
- Can the problem be repeated?
