Q. MicroWorlds EX Robotics doesn't recognize my Lego USB Tower?
A. Please read the following document
USB Tower
[PDF] for some Lego USB Tower driver installation tips.
Q. When I double-click a MicroWorlds EX project, MicroWorlds EX
launches the Welcome screen rather than the project?
A. You may have this problem if you've installed Windows XP Service Pack
2 (SP2). Please contact us for an update or an upgrade (*).
Q. MicroWorlds EX Robotics Edition won't run on my Windows
98/ME/NT system?
A. MicroWorlds EX Robotics does not run under Windows 98/ME/NT. MicroWorlds EX runs well on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.
Q. I'm having trouble playing embedded sounds?
A. Please contact us for update or an upgrade (*).
Q. My PC freezes when I launch MicroWorlds EX Robotics with my
Lego USB Tower attached.
A: Contact us or visit
Lego Mindstorm to get the latest Lego USB Tower driver. Remove the
previous driver (Control Panel / Lego USB Tower), download the new
driver, unzip the package and run the installer (setup.exe). Then, and
only then, connect your Lego USB tower and follow the on-screen
instructions. That new driver solves known issues (scanning the ports
for the Tower) with some Dell computers and other computers with
hyperthreading capabilities.
