MICROWORLDS VERSION 2.03 FOR MACINTOSH IS NOW AVAILABLE FROM LCSI

MONTREAL -- Logo Computer Systems Inc. (LCSI) today announced the release of the Macintosh version of its acclaimed MicroWorlds software. MicroWorlds 2.03 for Macintosh is the most powerful version of Logo available.

Some of the new features in MicroWorlds 2.03 include: transferring projects between the Macintosh and Windows platforms; classroom-ready documentation, including activity sheets and themed media resources (on Weather and Plants); and now students can save projects as HTML code so that they can be displayed directly on the Web.

"Logo-based software has always been unsurpassed at letting students learn through exploration , creation, and construction, making the actual process of designing and creating a project a rich learning experience," says Michael A. Quinn, President of LCSI. "But Logo - and MicroWorlds - must continue to evolve to keep pace with the exciting possibilities that new technology provides. Teachers will be impressed with MicroWorlds 2.03 for Macintosh and eager to get this "must-have" product into their students hands right away."
